One of the fondest memories of my life is the time I got to spend with him in my Lead-India journey. His poor background and early struggles felt somewhat similar to my life, and his positive vision got imbibed within me.
I couldn’t believe my ears for the first time when I heard the national coordinator of Lead India saying – “You have been the best youth leader of your state and hence are selected to meet the President soon.”
How did a blind child become competent enough to meet his role-model, the President of India? What did I say that day that left a deep impression on Dr. Kalam himself?

Imagine a small village just 3 miles away from the sea, natural and thriving with life and yet far from any essential amenities, healthcare, transport & schools.
Sita Ramapuram is where Srikanth was born and brought up by a small farmer who dared to raise him against the pressure and evils of the society against disabled kids. Even with the minimum resources they had, instead of being too careful or too ignorant of such a child, they nurtured will-power in this child. So much so he never thought of himself as lesser than anyone in the world.
