In addition to Bollant Industries, I have felt the gaps in the field of education and rehabilitation for individuals with disabilities. In 2011, I co-founded the Samanvai Center for Children with Multiple Disabilities in Hyderabad, India. This centre is aimed to provide comprehensive support to students with multiple disabilities, including educational, vocational, financial, and rehabilitation services, with the goal of enabling them to lead economically independent and self-sustained lives.

Samanvai Center became a beacon of hope for thousands of students with multiple disabilities and their families. Fortunately my like-minded co-founders were driven by the vision of empowering these individuals by providing them with quality education, vocational training, and other necessary support. The centre offers specialised educational programs tailored to the unique needs of each student, fostering their intellectual, emotional, and physical development.

Through the efforts of all team members, the Samanvai Center positively impacted the lives of more than 4,000 students with multiple disabilities. These students gained access to essential resources, skill development programs, and rehabilitation services that were crucial in improving their quality of life and enhancing their potential for a brighter future.

The centre’s approach is not limited to academic education alone. It also focuses on vocational training, equipping the students with practical skills that could lead to employment opportunities and economic independence. By empowering these students to become self-sufficient, the centre played a significant role in breaking down societal barriers and changing perceptions about the capabilities of individuals with disabilities.

The Samanvai Center’s holistic approach and dedication to the empowerment of students with multiple disabilities garnered recognition and support from various organisations, philanthropists, and government bodies. We have tried to put relentless efforts in driving positive change for individuals with disabilities have been widely appreciated.
